yes, I have done the mods
So I put "post an intro thread" on my to-do list about two weeks ago, and thought I'd browse around a little first.

Kind of speechless. Can't believe the scope of the community here and the dedication you guys have.

Just picked up a 2012 doublecab 4x4 longbed. Sold the Audi - needed something cheaper, more practical, with room for a carseat, the guts to haul stuff to fix up the new house and help me get into wheeling here around sunny southern California.

I thought I had a long list of mods I wanted to do before I started trolling here... what did I know... I thought I went in deep tweaking my cars... what did I know.

I've got so many of y'alls threads bookmarked now I'm intimidated just looking at the list.

Trying to get into off-roading for the first time, so please excuse all the n00b questions in advance. And I'll drill holes all over the place, but I'll definitely be leaning on the forum's expertise for electrical wiring.

And man, the stuff you guys all create from scratch? Mount plates, bumpers... wow. This is gonna be fun.

    Welcome from another SoCal member.

Building these trucks are only half the fun, putting them to good use off-road is the other.
