Hey guys I'm considering moving to Billings Montana here soon and was wondering if anyone from around that area could acknowledge me on if there is a lot of work over there. Thanks.

Well, I live slightly over 100 miles north of Billings and from what I've seen there is some industry work, lots of construction if you are into building. But it all really depends what you wanna do. A friend of mine works in a Sysco warehouse and makes 16 an hour for instance.

Right on I believe my mom actually lives in Harding or something its a small town. One of her friends is like one of the richest farmers in Montana and owns a construction business. She said she could possibly get me a job working for him.

Exxon, CHS, and Conoco Phillips have refineries in Billings, MT. could be a good place to look.

Yep, Hardin is about 20 or 30 miles out of Billings.

Haha, my wife's brother works a ranch just outside of Billings, before we both got our new jobs(much better than the old jobs) we were thinking of relocating up there. Still kind of think about it sometimes.

I travel to Billings about 3x/yr for work. I was suprised its a nice small town. Some good food and bars. My wife couldn't handle it, but its by no means a bad place at all. I have to go to Great Falls later this yr, ive heard not so nice things. I would like to see more of the state though. Preferably the western side.

If you go a little farther east there's tons of work in the oil fields...
