Do you recommend the AEM 320 LPH?

Don't have any experience with them personally, so I honestly cannot one way or another.

It takes a lot of power to keep my truck running at 75-80mph, i know my truck is heavy and not aero dynamic, but still i feel like it struggles too much running at those speeds, 65 all day, but anything faster it struggles, then after struggling it cuts out

Just select which pump you want from URD, with the kit. If your gas stations mix a good amount of E85, then get one that is rated for E85. Such as Deastchsworks.

Username went with the deastchworks 320 because it runs most fuel types.

And a good choice because of that.

I am waiting to get the walbro 400+ E85 rated, for the same reason.

That is what fuel looks like that comes out of a filter that has 100k miles on it.

That makes me want to get a new one at 25K miles! haha

By that though do you mean thats what the fuel looks like that is headed for your motor or did you just punch and drain the oem filter?

That was coming right out of the fuel filter before we removed it. Had a line on the outlet of the filter, into that bottle.

I cut my filter apart and it had at least a tablespoon of sand in it, as well as the fuel pump bucket. I went with the deatschworks 320 LPH,(it's way overkill and will support more HP than the 1GR is capable of producing, the smaller one will be fine) but I didn't install the secondary filter that came from URD for two reasons.
    1) It gets installed under the truck and it looks like a rock magnet.

    2) It's kind of a janky design. You cram the filter into the QD, then loop about 15" of line in a circle to reach the other end of the factory fuel line.

Seems like another point of failure to me, and it won't be doing much as the in tank filter will get most of it...

Look underneath your truck in front of the tank. The fuel lines have a quick disconnect there. You unplug one of those, and slide this filter on...

If you remove the intank OEM fuel filter during the installation of an upgraded pump, then all you are left with is a fuel pump sock. That is not a filter that has a small enough pleat to keep contaminants from getting into your injectors. Not a wise choice to leave the kit's filter off.

It might not be the best filter or routing available but it does work. Any one is always able to upgrade the filter, and line routing later. This at least gets you started and keeps your injectors safe. Which keeps your engine from having lean cylinder problems.

The stock in tank fuel filter was a fuel pump sock. I have an idea to install the filter in the engine bay, just need time to poke at it. That way if it fails at least the truck will burn to the ground and I won't have to worry about it anymore lol. There is lots of deep scratches in the bottom of my frame rails and tank skid...I'm not going to put it there, it for sure won't last long.

I have to disagree my friend. There is a sock on the bottom of the pump, that then feeds into the encasing molded filter. That hole piece is thrown away during new pump installation.

Here is a good one for the engine bay, if you can find the room.

I cut mine apart and realized there is a filter in there other than the sock...(you were right, and btw torspd, I didn't get shit done at work today because I clicked on your sig and read 20 pages of your build!) some seriously nasty shit came out of it. It is a little different than the one above.

I bet it looks twice as bad, in person, compared to what I can see in the picture.

Lucario Runner's filter is what the 4Runner one looks like. It actually had to be hit with a hole saw, then put back in. Can't remember all of the details, but it wouldn't work without the mold of the filter being in there.

That is funny about the build thread comment. I was doing the same a few days ago, reading through yours. Got a good kick out of your dry sense of humor too. Lol.
