My truck's fan at low setting not working. Wiring to resistor' fan is burnt. Repaired corroded contact and now it's working but I need to change the Cabin Air Filter because it could be dirty and restrict the air flow to the resistor causing it to overheat. How do I open the globe compartment to get to the filter? Thank you very much.

    Welcome to TW.

    It's behind the glove box.
Romove the "shock" on the right side of the glove box. It slides right off.
Let glove box open all the way (down)
Open door behind glove box. It's about an inch high and 6 to 8 inches wide.
    You'll see the element.
    The filter pulls right out.
Install new filter and reverse what you've already done.
