nice! truck bro... quick question was any trimming required to run your 285's? And how much of a lift do you have? Is it a 2.5 or more like 3

 

my lift is an OME 2.5 (top plates spacers would have made it 3 but i didnt want to deal with getting new ucas just yet) but when i added the 285s i remeasured and it added just over an inch so i got the full 3" in the end...the 285s need spacers to get them away from the ucas but no trimming needed yet. im puttin the spacers on this week so ill update you on the trimming when i get them on

Gotta take some better pictures but this will do for now

 

The truck looks great and inspires me to do similar mods on my Taco as well.


Have you still determined that you have to do some trimming? If so, can you give us some details and maybe some pics?

 

Thanks bud..Yea trimming needs to be done..was supposed to do it a while ago but got orders to school so its been on the back burner...should be soon tho I'll post pics n details

 

Jus added some nice black bedsides, diff breather mod and trimmed up front. I'll put up some pics later but the triming was very minor and didn't have to cmc. All good at full lock forward and reverse.

i wanna say it was autoanything...99% sure..it was my first mod super easy to install and changes the look imensly..def recommend it

Truck looks great man. How have you liked the duratracs with the ome combo and spacers? I was gonna go 265/70/17 but now you got me wanting bigger I like the stance yours has!

 

I haven't seen the spacers do anything to my mpgs but when I went bigger on the tires it affected it a little not much tho..definatly worth it IMO
