    My truck has 200k and the timing chain has never been changed. My dad has a 99 with 280k and has never changed his either. Are these motors non-interferance? I'm looking into getting mine changed out but it will probably be a few months.

    The general consensus seems to be that Toyota puts chains on their interference engines and belts on their non-interference engines, but I haven't personally confirmed that the 2/3rz is interference
