You can make those for a whole hell of a lot cheaper than 30 buck

I have some T-Slot (fastenal, also gorilla) nuts in my rails with Eyelet bolts like those through them. Held one dirtbike just fine. Was going down rocky and very pitched trails before we unloaded the bike.

This. And my dirt bike is fine with OEM cleats. :notsure: I even hauled an ATV with them. As long as they are locked correctly in the slots, I don't see a problem.

I've lugged ATV's around with them as well and never had issues or had any concern.

Your bed is plastic, so why do the cleats bother you? Could always add D-Rings in the bed...

Also, that ebay link is a rip. Just go to Home Depot....

Superstrut 3/8 in. Channel Spring Nuts (5 for <$5)
    3/8 in. eye bolt (5 for <$5)
    5 3/8 washers (really cheap)

I doubt you'd spend $12 for a set of 5 but your plastic cleats will work better.

I have had mine locked correctly and pull out of the track while driving a couple of times. I now use rings i installed in the bed lower front bed and the d rings in the back.

Fiber-reinforced Sheet-Molded Composite is stronger than plastic.

I like it, the only thing that isn't perfect is that the d-ring mod puts the d-rings inboard from the edge of the bed. This would be just fine for one bike, but with two the front wheels of each bick would be right on top of the d-rings.

Think i'm going to do that Mod anyway. Looks good and easy.

As far as quads go... Seems like an apples and oranges comparison. You don't have to hold the quad up... much like when you're riding it. :D :stirthepot:

Thanks for all the quick replies and advice!
