URD supercharger pulley for 1GR advice

    TRD Supercharger, TRD Catback, aFe Cold air intake system, HELLA Rallye 4000 Celis lamps, Spyder Smoke CCFL Halo projector Headlights, JBA Ceramic Coated Long Tube Headers, Centric Cross Drilled Front Brake Rotors, URD smaller diameter S/C pulley, Roof Rack, Recon Tail light bar, 3" OME Leaf pack at the rear with 5100 Bilsteins and Regulable 2.75" Toytec Red Springs with 5100 Bilsteins in the front, Total Chaos UCA, Front TRD Skid Plate, Black Tube Step Bar, Black Emblems and TRD Sport Stripes decal, I JUST FINISHED MY MOD TO THE PARKING, DTR AND TURNING LIGHTS, When you hit the turning switch, DTR ad Parking lights turn of on the side the Turn signals are flashing, so they don't disturb their intensity. Everything installed with my own little hands and help of my dear friend and of course, your mods.
    I just have installed my new TRD supercharger myself and updated the calibration files. Everything is ok, the new sound is kind of strange, hope it will diminish a bit, or maybe I have to get used to it.
    Now I've seen the URD pulley and I would like to know if anybody around here installed it. Is it really that good? Can you notice more power?

    Please need some advice. :)

    i installed mine about 4 months after i had the supercharger installed and i could tell a difference. got up a go a lot quicker than before the smaller pulley

    Im pretty sure adding the pulley is going to make it even louder. Its going to give you more boost which makes it louder. Did you not know superchargers whined?

    No I didn't, but I think that the power is worth it. It would be great to gain HP's with a different pulley if it's noticeable.

    i bought the 2.85 stealth pulley. any smaller, u would need new injectors

    Not to mention even a new tune with those injectors, then have to maybe even consider 7th injector due to heat lol
    It would to interesting to see that 2.55" pulley URD offers on the TRD supercharger

    And what do you think about the URD SuperGrip 2.825" compared to the stealth 2.85?

    aFe CAI, TRD S/C with 2.8 URD Pulley, Doug Thorley long tube headers, AFE Y pipe, Banks monster exhaust
    Either pulley will work well without additional tuning and give you the nearly identical gains. I have the Supergrip 2.825 and love it. Worth very penny and easy to install.

    You can go even smaller, there's a FPR mod that you can do that will up the fuel pressure when in boost. Very interesting stuff.

    You can get a lot more information regarding the TRD SC (and more performance stuff) on Xr-Underground, great forum with a lot of performance minded people.

    Thanks a lot guys, you were very helpful. One more question. I'm also interested in buying the TRD cat-back and JBA or throley long tube headers. Do they increase significant power? what happens with the stock y-pipe, can I keep it factory?

    i'd get the DTLT headers. other than that. i wouldnt worry about anything else. and the stock y pipe is used whether u get a catback and headers or not. unless u decide to change that out

    I've got Doug thorley headers and there awesome! You do get a bit of gain when supercharged :D

    If you plan on doing headers and a cat back exhaust, why not include an aftermarket y-pipe?

    May I ask any of you with SC's what your MPG is like? I have a 2013 with TRD SC and my MPG is horrible....starting to believe the dealership messed me MAP up. I am only getting about 14.5MPG overall. Any thoughts??

    2.85 pulley worth every penny. Added 3psi of boost for me.
    Since I use the whine as an audible MPG Nanny, my MPG's actually increased. I can get combined 17 mpg when taking it easy. That's with 35" tires.
