I have a 2011 Tacoma TRD with 40k miles on it. This past weekend, I just happened to be looking at the front of my truck and noticed that BOTH of the running light housing on the headlights are melting! WTF?

I have a 100k warranty (the extended warranty). Will Toyota replace these? What is causing this? I have not changed out any bulbs at all. This should not be happening. Is there a TSB for this?

Here is an example of what it looks like:

There's a TSB on it. Talk to your dealer.

If there is a TSB, will I still be able to get them replaced outside of the 36k warranty even though I have the extended warranty?

Most people have had TMC pick up at least half the cost, leaving you with out of pocket of 400 bucks or so. but, you're only 4k passed your warranty anyway. id ask the dealer, it all depends on your specific warranty.

Same things here. My 2011 is experiencing the same melting phenomena that so many others have faced. I have 46k mi., which is WAY to early for this sort of problem. I could maybe see that happening after 200+k mi, but not under 50!
