    Hey guys,
I'm new here, so I was hoping someone could help me out. I've got an 05 prerunner 2wd and I want to put some bigger tires than the original on it, maybe up to 33's. What kind of suspension upgrade do I need, if any? One of my buddies was talking about a 3 inch leveling kit, but I want thoughts from someone more experienced. I'm not looking for anything too drastic, as I don't use the truck for anything like "mudding". I need some help. Thanks!

OME 3" suspension, it comes with a trim packer to fix the taco lean and if you want a full 3" of lift get the 1/2" spacers to go with it.
Some people reccomend to get light racing UCA's to be sure camber can be in spec.

What he said. Same setup I'm running (have the UCAs, havent installed yet), but I'm 4x4. I think you have the option of gaining lift by replacing the spindles.

My guess is that OP doesn't understand a word you just said.

That being said, OP, you can check out toyteclifts.com and browse the stuff they have. If you are just keeping it on the street they have a few spacer options. If you want a better ride, plus more offroad ability you'll want to look into springs and struts for lift. Billstein makes 5100's as a good strut upgrade, Old Man Engineering (OME) makes some as well that are pretty good. Upper control arms will give you a better alignment afterwards, but not absolute necessity.

    Old Man Emu (ARB)...............

Old Man Engineering is a different animal

otherwise, I agree with what u said......... sans the spacers. People have broken shocks while never being offroad and running spacers.

He's talking about the top plate spacers, not the crap you stuff on top of the coil in the strut. Check my build thread. I beat the snot outta mine and have zero issues.

    I read this as
    a spacer lift

ur details say ur running OME, and that I assume means ur running their TRIM PACKERS?

If so, theres nothing wrong with OME trim packers, or the toytec 1/4" lean spacer.

Id steer clear of all other spacers........ toucanV13 snapped a shock while driving home from the gym onroad
