What improvements would you like to see to the Tacoma?

    While I like both of these lists, I would also like to see:

    -More sound-deadening materials ( I hate paying for Dynamat).
    -Better window/door seals to eliminate wind noise.
    -Improved storage in the cabin--re-designed console, glove box, door panels!
    -More use of LED lights/bulbs.
    -Telescoping steering wheel

    Generally, more bells & whistles like are found in the 4Runner. Stop treating the Tacoma like a red-headed step-child and offer improved/better option packages. :D

    I don't know if it's a Toyota thing but, their basic entry level cars (Tacoma/Corolla) don't have option. You can speck them out and still not come close to a Camry/Tundra. They almost seem to just stick with the basics.

    V8 or diesel
    frame that doesn't rust
    decent rear suspension
    get rid of the sliding rear window or add power option
    heated mirrors
    better paint that doesn't chip
    dump the scoop
    keep the size (don't go bigger)

    Option of a transfer case with a center diff, like the FJ
    More solidly mounted driveshaft support bearing
    Option of integrated trailer brake controller
    Properly machined spider and carrier in front diff
    In-cab adjustable headlights, like in the Tundra
    Electronic brake distribution, not just multichannel ABS
    Heated seats
    Gimme a six speed manual on the four cylinder just for kicks
