Just wanted to post up a couple of pics of my new shoes: LT285/70R17E BFG AT KO OWL

I was offered an outstanding deal by discount tire in Raleigh and had them put on this morning. I am very pleased. Also I noticed that I gained at least an inch in clearance in going from my bald Nitto Terra Grapplers to the BFGs. Also, I noticed that the tread is narrower - which I am happy about since I didn't like all that rubber on the asphalt going down the highway on the Nittos --> Hopefully I'll get slightly better MPGs but we'll see. Either way, I'm MUCH happier with the ride and definitely happy with the looks!

    Thanks!

Haha! They're the "UltraGrip(R)" version lol. Nah, for some reason my phone doesn't like to transfer photos all that well. I guess the photo edit on TW that I did hasn't taken effect quite yet?

Dedinitely! I appreciate the staff working with me. I was very impressed with the staff and the mechanics. And yes, it was a very windy day - the first photo shows a bunch of leaves that have blown in the garage, but I tell you the manager probably swept them out at least three times while I was there, which impressed me that he lead by example.. Also, I would like to thank you for having clean shops. It's not often that any auto place has a clean shop.

Thanks! Haha I think I'll stick with the stock headlights for now. I do kinda like those but I just had my 30k crap done. My f150 had issues that cost me money, but this tacoma has maintenance that's dang expensive. My gosh. 30k mile spark plugs? Really? I changed my f150 at 85k miles and didnt really need to. That's a shame since this taco is such a great truck. I mean maybe if I put that much maintenance into my 150 it would last 300k miles. Sorry for the rant - just pissed that I'm broke after Toyota care maintenance conveniently ran out at 30k when the most expensive maintenance is needed. They tried to get me to overhaul my 4wd system for $257?! I have used 4wd maybe 5 times side I bought it a year ago. Toyota is pissing me off.
