Hello all I just changed my oil in my
    Front diff
    Rear diff
    And transfer case.

    I have a 2012 DCSB 4x4
It has 30,000 miles on it.
Now there is gear oil leaking out of the breather
On the front drivers side wheel well, right next
To the fuse box. There are two breather there the one
With the big hose is the one leaking. I think

I'm assuming its the front differential breather?
If yes, why is oil leaking outta the breather, did
I put to much into it? Or did I fuck something else up?
I used 100% Lucas oil in the front and rear. And a Qt
Of 75/85wt in the transfer and and little Lucas to finish it off.
So please help me out thank you for your knowledge
    And advice.

Doesn't sound like you fucked anything up. When you filled the diffs, did you fill level to the fill plug hole? I don't know how you would over fill if you did it that way.

Is the oil leaking new and golden like the stuff you put in? Or is it used oil that may have been trapped in the breather line and burped out as you drove around?

I did fill it to the top of the full plug when it
Started coming out I closed it up waited a
Half hour so it could level out it was cold out.
Added it again Til it came out. Tightened it up. Done.
Don't think I fucked anything up either but
I've never seen oil coming out the breather
A good bit of oil too. Enough to run down and drip off
    The brake line.

Oh it was the fresh oil input in coming out too not old.
Never happened before I changed the fluid?
    Anyone else have any ideas!
No I haven't been wheeling there is no water in the oil.

Mine does that on my runner as well, also started seeping after changing the oil to syn, not sure why. I have changed the oil subsequently and it was still pristine, so I wouldn't sweat it.

It's fine. Even if over filled it won't hurt anything because its not a closed system.

Thanks for the advice. Didn't think I fucked it up.
Just never saw a breather do that before. I'm
Positive I changed everything right and don t think
I could of over filled it either. Thanks again.
