I promised my fiancé I wouldn't modify this truck... I lied.
    Hey guys,
I picked up a brush guard for a '96 Tacoma off C/L yesterday for cheap. I have a '98 and figured it may bold right up, no chance. It mounts to the hooks underneath the bumper but has an additional two mounts in the middle of the guard. I'm about 3" off to get to the hook mounts because my stock bumper sticks out too much. My Dad has a '94 which has a similar bumper to the 95-97 years, it seems much more snug to the truck and it looks like it would fit. My question is if I get a bumper and valence for a 95-97, do you guys think the guard would then bolt on? Just curious if anyone has done this, thanks in advance!
