I've got a 2013 6cyl with 6spd and experiencing a vibration when accelerating in 2nd and only 2nd. It happens when accelerating hard (more than 1/2 throttle) between 1500 and 2500 rpm or any rpm with a load. Sometimes I pull a 2000 lbs trailer and I feel it each time in second gear. You can also feel it thumping (all I can think to explain it a thumper motor bike or old truck with the timing f'd up). The dealer is taking a look Monday morn but with previous visits, for known issues on other vehicles, I'm not holding my breath. Thanks in advance...

If I had to bet I'd say this is the same problem a lot of people have with '12s and newer. From what I've read it has something to do with a new driveshaft design, not the transmission. I had it in my '13 automatic from roughly 10-25 mph during moderate to hard acceleration. I'm sure there's more than one thread about it on here...

Dealer said they felt the vibration but at this time could not determine it wasn't normal. Pretty much come back when it breaks. The service writer did mention something about drive line wrap but didn't get into it too much. I guess I'll just keep driving it and see if it gets worse.

Yeah, it's a vibrating sumbitch right between 18-22 MPH. It is what it is, doesn't seem to effect the longevity of the truck. I didn't even notice the vibe until I read about it here. Towing it's much more noticeable.
