New member, new Taco owner....almost

Just giving an intro.

Just finalized my truck purchase, parts will be ordered from Tyller @ NSOR (ARB bumper, lift, winch)...so far I'm very impressed with them. It sounds like it may take a while for my truck (is it really that much of an odd ball?!). Also throwing on a set of Toyo GSi5's (it's not often I sway from Nokians'). I already have 4 PIAA 520's and the inverter.

Near future upgrades (next 1-3 months) are an Extang fold away hard tonneau (or DiamondBack LT), BajaRack with light bar, a bunch of those free mods, hopefully one of them overhead consoles with the switch spots, and some additional interior set-up.

Also want to thank this community, I havent even took delivery of my truck yet and I've already received a lot of help and ideas through my lurking.

Thanks, I'm certain I will. She won't be perfect, but what fun would that be! I'm way to stubborn and fussy to find a perfect vehicle, good thing I love tearing things apart...

 

Make it into a vehicle you want it to be and start a build thread when you get it

 

I see you're getting pyrite great choice on color! Don't worry the mods will never end.

TacoRuthe, funny you mention the colour. It took me a lifetime of experience to choose the parts, about 2 months to pick the truck, and weeks staring at pics to decide on that colour. Now I realize that I built a truck I don't think even exists in Canada haha. I believe it was on this forum where there are threads for each colour, that really helped my decision. I almost went with MGM (which is awesome as well...almost as awesome as my '09 Xterra in knights armor haha) I'm sure I'll love this colour, but it sure seems rare. Same with my manual trans...its like they don't even build them for anything but base models and AccessCab Offroads. Dealer is having no luck locating one.

There sure is some amazing innovation happening on this site. If all these guys that build this custom stuff...overhead consoles, switch panels, glove box/centre console organizers (which I just bought also)...got together as one Taco accessory company it would be wild.

So now I will need a new spot to pile up my Taco spares...likely next to the Harley spares lol
