I hate to admit but I hauled a 7200 lb small dozer on a trailer that weighs 2200 lb. so about 9400 lbs. I have a 2006 taco 4x4 with the trailer pkg and a 6 speed trans v-6. It pulled it fine but stopping was a challenge. There is not enough weight in the truck to have enough traction to stop correctly. I hauled it across town a couple of times cause I had to NOT cause I wanted to.
