(Please see attached pic of my temp gauge) --'03 Prerunner V6 SR5 -- 91k miles -- just had the timing belt and all belts changed, as well as new thermostat.. Stays at this temp and never above.. Dealer mechanic says this is normal for this motor/year. Thoughts?

Seriously? If it was running hot it would move higher. That is around normal op temp.

Ok thanks - I just bought this truck a few weeks ago and don't know what the normal operating temp is for these vehicles. Thanks for the input.

Yup.. that's where my '94dlx, '03 Tundra, and my '08 Tacoma always ran/run.

My 04 temp gauge runs about the same and has always been there since the truck was new. It's normal.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
I wouldn't call it normal but its not something to worry about either.

My truck was about the same since I bought it. I had the radiator flushed and new fluid added when I discovered the fluid was brown and probably original. Now the temp mark is noticeably below the halfway mark, but not a huge difference in the grand scheme of things.
