hey guys, just put on a set of wheel spacers i got off of ebay

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/300704498363?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2648

i just want them for winter, as my stock rims look horrible. so i had my stock wheels and winter tires on, no vibes or anything. then got the spacers, checked for clean mating lines, and put them on, i didnt torque i used an impact, but they seated fine. then took it out for a spin, i get vibes at 80-100kms/hr. at 100 its very bad, steering wheel shake mostly.

i removed the spacers again and had a look, didnt see anything, so i put them back on, and started spinning the hub on the truck, i saw a slight wobble up and down, the gap from the outside of the spacer to the outside rim of the hub isnt perfect, id say 1/6"inch difference, but i can see a slight wobble for sure, now the spacers seat on the lugs i cant change that, is it my hub that is bent or bad? i dont have the vibes unless the spacers are on..

could the spacers be out of round?

any help appreciated, i dont want to remove them as the truck looks so much better hahah!

Those spacers look to be lug centric, you need hub centric spacers for our trucks

Moose from AZ found some rings that will get your spacers centered on the hub, that should help. Otherwise, get some spidertrax if you need spacers.

It should. I'm still stumped on my issue though, I thought all Spidertrax spacers were Hubcentric? Could I have bought some different kind?

New Navigation DVD/CD/TV/AV/Bluetooth Stereo and seat mod spacers, 1" hubcentric spacers, seat heaters....
Yes and no....the cheap Ebay ones are machined a bit loose, I went through this myself with 1.25" hubcentric spacers ($159), when I was installing them they had a little bit of play when attaching to the hub, and then when the wheels went on, there was some play at the new hub, and a slight vibration ensued...I returned them and got Bora hubcentric spacers, a whole new world, snug fit both truck hub and also the new hub to the wheel...vibes solved...

It cost about $50 extra plus shipping for proper fitting spacers...

And, yes, the lugcentric is gonna be worse with the vibs...

^^^ this and the fact that when adding spacers , you change the original geometry of the front end adding greater forces to all the components .The slightest vibration will be fealt . Wheel balance is a huge contributor to this as well .
I had to road force balance my aftermarket wheels

Wrong, spidertrax will give zero vibes. I've had both, lug centric = vibes, hub centric = no vibes.

If you get wheels spacers yes get the hubcentric ones. I have never been a fan of wheel spacers in general. Prefers to just get wheels with the proper back spacing.

I would prefer to not have spacers but i really like the look of my stock TRD wheels.
