I wrecked my 2006 tacoma and tore the front up really bad. Is there any way possible I could replace the front grill with the newer 2013 grill and head lights? I may ask the body shop to do this if it's possible.

Hood, grill, fenders, bumper, all need to be changed. It isn't remotely practical.

Going to a real bumper up front rather than expensive tupperware on the other hand...

    howdy bro,
i am sort of doing the same thing right now, i have a 2005 and i ordered new front end to upgrade to 2012. most of the parts have arrived, im just waiting on the grille and the insert, from what i have read you can do the mod (well i gambled several thousand dollars on parts so i hope so, LOL) but you need new bumper cover, bumper insert, head light assemblies, bumper filler (the lil pieces under headlights) fog lights, fog lights inserts, and grille.

I will post info as i carry on with my mod.

but just swapping the grille is a no-go bro

    this is what I ordered

    -front bumper cover
    -front bumper extensions
    -front bumper brackets
-lower radiator grille AKA the insert in bumper cover
    -both headlight assemblies
-both bumper fillers (pieces under headlights)
    -upper grille AKA 'the grille'
    -hood with buldge
    -both fog light assemblies
    -both tail light assemblies

    hope that helps

    cheers,
    disco

    **** edit *****
forgot about the hood also, i am banking that the fenders will be fine, but i guess i will find out soon enough, anyone know off hand if i need to change fenders to?

Front fenders are all the same part number. They are fine. Just the hood, grille, lights, bumper are different.
