Just drove the Tacoman 991mi from North Carolina to Louisiana with a 6x12x5' u-haul trailer attached to it and I want to make sure I do everything right to it post roadtrip. Here's a few stats:
    -2013 V6 TRD Sport Double Cab 4x4
    -Towing Package
    -Post Roadtrip Odometer: 7,421 miles
-Next Oil Change in Feb 2014
-Total Weight of Truck with Full Tank and U-haul : 8,040lbs

Let me know if you guys need anymore information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

There isn't anything you 'need' to do. If it makes you feel better you could check the oil. Driving that far isn't going to hurt it.

    ^yes

if you are really picky about your vehicles, there isn't anything wrong with changing the oil just because that is a tough trip for the tacoma but it is in no way necessary.

I would check the oil...depending on what you see, I may change it...other than that, check the fluid levels. Then check wear items like tires and brakes at your next oil change, but it's not that big of a deal.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it though...

Not sure I understand the purpose of this thread.

These trucks with the V-6 and towing package are rated at towing 6500 lbs. While you may have some concerns if you were pushing the limit, you aren't even close. You are well under that after you deduct your truck weight from your total. IMO you should be fine without any worries.

Unload the trailer, return it then have a few beers as was suggested.

Honestly, that trip was WAY easier on your truck than the same number of stop and go city miles with short trips. Plus, its not a Furd/Chebby/Rodge Dam that would need a frame-off restoration as post-trip "maintenance".

Haha thanks guys. I think I may have taken yall's advice to heart.....I've had about 15 beers in the past 2 days for no reason other than to enjoy some brews. Thanks for the actual advice on the truck too, just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I should do as preventative measures and I'd rather ask and look stupid than not ask and not have a truck and look stupid. I'll throw another one back tonight for yall, thanks again!
