Hey everyone, after several months of lurking the forums during my last deployment, all of your pictures and stories convinced me to go ahead and pick up a new truck. I went with a 2013 MGM trd or dcsb. Picked it up with 100 miles on it as they had to get it from Cn to get the options/color I wanted in a '13.

I decided on the 13 after a lot of reading on here. As 13 and 14 are pretty much identical, I wanted the factory auto dim mirror with temp, which pretty much drove my decision to pick the 13. Plus I got a good deal, 31.5 otd including ttl.

So far overall I love the truck. It's my 2nd tacoma, I had a 2nd gen 4runner in high school (95.0, 4wd auto 3.4). Had to sell it as it blew 2 head gaskets in rapid succession. 2nd after a full engine swap/rebuild my dad and I did. Didn't have the heart to put more money into it.

So far I have ordered an ultra gauge, hood lifts, cb. Currently shopping for lift, tire, seat covers and floor mats.

As for me I'm 24, in the AF, stationed in NJ but originally from WA. Little disappointed on the off road out here so far. Only made it out to the pines though. Looking forward to getting to know everyone! And to throwing money at the truck of course. Pictures will come when I figure out how on an iPhone
