I just got my WO seat covers this week. I'm looking at the switch for the seat heaters (driver and passenger side) as well as the cigarette lighter power supply and I'm not a fan!

I would like to cut the power wire between the heating element and the WO switch and hard wire the power supply and a new switch, which would be mounted on the center console.

I would like to use a hi/Lo rocker switch like this: http://www.sportsimportsltd.com/ilsehehirosw.html

One concern is I don't really know if the WO switch box actually controls the temp and if I were to change the switch to the simple hi/Lo switch if I would loose the temp control.

Also, I know I should add a fuse between the power and switch (size?), but I don't know what else I would need.

    Any guidance would be great.

    Thanks!

Yes...I already used the search feature and didn't find any answers.

Any luck with this yet? I'm planning on doing the same thing.

I haven't had time to start working on it yet. I will do a little write up when I complete it.
