I have one in a forward facing car seat and one in a booster. Leg room isn't too bad with the booster, but I would be very unhappy if I had to have one in a forward-facing car seat behind me on a regular basis. A rear-facing seat would not work at all.

I'm 5'10" and have a DC with a manual transmission.

I have two forward facing car seats in mine and have no problem whatsoever. I am 6' 1" and have more than enough room.

I have 1 car seat behind the pass seat. Its an infant rear facing by Chicco. My wife is 5'2" and with the front seat pushed back into the car seat, she is a little tight! If I had to put it behind the drivers seat I (6'-2") would be screwed!
Once the she goes into the 3 phase front facing booster seat, I should be better on room.
There is plenty of room for them side by side.

My gf has the same seat for her kid and it's pretty crammed for her in the front of my access cab with him in the back but we make it work

I can imagine. I bought the DCLB because I knew the baby was coming.

We've got one forward facing safety1st seat like that one above^ behind passenger seat and one rear facing graco behind drivers seat.. they both fit perfect. Eventually we'll have two forward safety1sts in there.

We have fit three across a few times when we visit family.. everyone fits.

Only reason I got the access cab was because at the time, it was the only manual tacoma within about 75 miles of me. My gf was kind of mad at first about it but she got over it and likes the truck a lot now :)

I'm a little worried because if I have to have two seats back there I'll be crammed as all hell because I'm 6'3........

I went wheeling with a guy who had two baby seats in his AC, whole family on board. That truck was as full as I've ever seen one.

I just bought a double cab because I have another kid on the way. More room in these than most cars.

I have a high back booster and fwd facing seat in the back of my truck they fit nicely. The kids kicking the back of the seat is pretty annoying though. I wish the driver seat had hard plastic on it like the passengers seat to keep it clean from little muddy shoes.

Just a word of warning though if you like your interior fabric get seat covers, mine are not allowed snacks in my truck and they some how still manage to get crumbs and other stuff all over the seats. My wife's 4Runner on the other hand is trashed from them:mad:

2.75 and 4mos, rear facing cramps passenger but thats the wife's problem. We use her 08 highlander less and less so she must not mind.

Had to pick up the wife and her friend from the bar a couple weeks ago, already had the kids in the truck so the wife had to sit in the back between the car seats, good thing she was drunk! LOL
