255/75/17 or 265/70/17 , help please

    Hey guys I'm going to be purchasing some 17x8 mk6 wheels .

    I can't figure out what to run for a tire size , I've read a few ppl run 255/75/17 but then I read 265/70/17 is pretty much the max you can go with a 1.75" lift .

    I don't want to do any trimming or cutting unless it's just on the inner fender well. And I'd like to keep my front mud flag if possible .

    I had my old truck setup with a 1.75 lift and 265/70/17s. It was a great setup. Here is a couple photos.

    Looks good , I just went with the 265/70/17 . Can't wait !
