Guy selling 2006 Double Cab Tacoma. Isn't he asking just a little too much?!

    Loud as hell URD exhaust!
Texas is proud of their Tacoma's.

I bought 3 Tacoma's while living there and actually had dealerships let me walk out the door because they didn't want to budge off of MSRP!

When I was looking for a Tacoma last February I saw a 2001 at a dealer near me. They were asking $12000, book was $6000. It was gone in a week so they must have sold it.

I found finally found a 2009 4x4 single cab at a dealer in Burlinton, WA. After negotiating and going back twice I got it for the book value, $14,400 as I recall. 66,000 miles and Toyota certified with warranty. Took 6 month to find it, lucky I wasn't in a rush.

1st gen prices are nuts as well. I wanted a 04 Double-cab just like my dads but couldn't find one within GA and surrounding states that either A) hadn't been molested with a drop-bracket or shitty modifications, B) had ideally no higher than 110k on it or C) Was lower than 18k asking price.

Seriously all the 4x4 01-04 DC Tacos were set at 17-18k on dealer lots. Pure bullshit for buyers, great for sellers. So went ahead and pursued a brand new 2013 :)

And aside from that, walking on to the lot to see last years model already at 20k on the ODO and still sitting almost at MSRP for a new one was a punch to the genitals.
