12 OEM radio

I was wondering a buddy of mine just got a double din and has his OEM 2012 head unit just laying around and i thought to myself. This head unit is way better then the 2011 one and was wondering. Would a 2012 headunit work in my truck?

 

what headunit is it?
the entune jbl touchscreen or the regular one with lcd screen?
what do you have? jbl or non jbl truck

 

I have a non jbl i think. But the one my buddy has is the lcd screen

 

if you have the non jbl and he has the lcd screen then ya its plug and play but you need a different harness to plug in your steering wheel controls and mic

 

How can you tell if mine is a jbl or not. I'm not very sure if it is or not. And where could you buy the harness at?

 

If you have the sub behind the rear seats, and the jbl badge on the doors by the speakers also on the headunit it says jbl

 

Oh well I guess I don't. But I do have a sub in my rear seat but made my digital design
