It was a great trip, RPM did excellent. Juan Carlos got 4th place in trophy truck, Trophy truck had a front hub go bad and lost about 20 minutes, other then that had a flawless run.
class 1/truggy got a 4th place, lost abelt 2 times, had 2 flats and got stuck in the silt one time pretty bad. Rudy drove a flawless race in the spec trophy truck/super 8, won the class and the championship for the year and finished 14th overall. not bad for a truck with a stock crate ls3. class 8 dnf due to mechanical failure, class 4 had first time drivers and had nothing but problems from the start, DNF, 1400 sportsman truck was a dnf after the front of the truck was about to fall off at race mile 600, class 5 won the class and the championship.
It takes a lot to race this many vehicles, tons of people and pit support, loads of chase trucks and a assload of pit equipment.
Climbed out of my cot at 3 am on sunday morning and bombed for the border, got there at 5:15 am and a 1 minute wait, was back home with a fresh cup of coffee by 7 am.
