I've been pining over side steps and plan to do this to my white taco soon... trouble is, the DCLB is a tricky beast to pick side steps for & keep that yummy sporty look.

I like the OEM ones, but not sure if they're worth the $$$ being asked.

So, double cab long box folks, help me shop! show me those steps and let me know what they are?

Otherwise, point me to the thread that I missed when searching :)

    Best,
    Bri

I am a DCSB guy but am chiming in only because after buying some el cheapo nerf bars off eBay, I quickly regretted the purchase. I mean they look nice and are functional, but I am beating myself up for not getting the more expensive OEM ones.

During resale I feel more comfortable having more factory options rather than having aftermarket parts. Factory options are also usually covered by insurance where as aftermarket they usually don't give you any credit for.

    OEM all the way.

If you actually wheel your Taco you will want sliders, nerf bars and steps are for mall crawling! You will tear them off if you do any 4 wheeling where you rub on anything!!

I don't rock crawl with my Taco.... That's why we have a Jeep. When it breaks, its gets put back in the garage until I decide to fix it. My Taco is my daily driver and hunting rig. I've run down plenty of trees and have a new dent in the door because I didn't get the side steps installed before my last hunting trip and drove over a log that split and slapped the drivers door. Fortunately, its a small dent and will pop out at the PDR place down the road along with the hail damage I got last month.
