So a buddy and i played around tonight a little past Pollock Pines off a road called Mormon immigrant! Pretty cool logging roads and found some mud but didn't really know of we were supposed to be around there. Anyone know much about it, or some cool spots to check out around there?

Its just a nice paved east-west road in the mountains. A short cut to the Silver Lake area on hwy88. Camping, fishing, hunting opportunities. Like most other mountain areas, beautiful country, but no lakes after Sly Park.

Most of the 4x4 roads up there have been closed for environmental reasons.

During the winter, the road does not get plowed, so it becomes an un-official sno-park area for us 4-wheelers and families with children who want to play in the cold stuff.
