After tons of research on this great forum and 3 weeks of waiting, all the components came. The guys at DSM, Radflo, and All Pro were extremely helpful. Leaf springs are All Pro standard, coilovers are Radflo extended 2.0, UCA are Desert Products, and rear shocks are the extended version Bilstein 5100. They will be installed tomorrow, unfortunately I have no time and must pay a shop to do the job, which I hate. Any suggestions for special instructions for the mechanic?

Yes and no. Feels great but I have a clunk/ rattle coming from the passenger front. Gotta throw it on the lift, hoping its just a bolt not torqued down rather than defective coil overs...pictures to come

Check sway bar contacting the coil overs and also your uca's could be contacting the coils too..Lift will tell all

I just had every bolt re-torqued and the clunk is still there. I also just mounted my go pro to film the suspension going over bumps: no visible contact of sway bar or UCA on the springs, no coil wrap, no paint rubbed off....this is extremely aggravating. A $2200 suspension should not have any play in it what so ever. Please keep the suggestions coming, I'll look into anything else people have had experience with.

Is the clunk when going over bumps? Or stopping and going? Theres so many variables..Dont forget to check those lca's also. Im assuming the person who did the alignment tighten them good but, they need to be torque good. Roughly 100lbs will do the trick.

    Check the UCA's

My brother and I just installed a new suspension/ lift on my dads ranger. We left the UCA's loose until the very end and forgot to tighten the drivers side down completely. It made a clunk sound when going over bumps until we got it back to the house and tightened those down. Did you check the UCA bolts?

I did tighten the UCA and LCA bolts to 100lb with no luck. The clunk is now more like a very loud heavy metal rattle when going over bumps and I can duplicate the sound a little when I come to a quick stop...

Try taking it to a good alignment shop. They should check everything out with the suspension. Sounds like either something is now hitting when the suspension flexes a little or something's isn't sitting properly In it's place.

Disconnected the sway bar and the sound is still there. Definitely the shock it self

Can you recreate the sound by using your body weight to move the truck up and down?

Yes we were able to stand in the bed and bounce it. The sound seemed to be in the bottom of the shock body. DSM and RADFLO are being helpful and building another shock for me.

I'm glad you found the culprit. It's always a peace of mind feeling when companies take care of defects, like the shock. I didn't know shocks could make a clunk sound when they are bad. Glad it's all good now

Yeah, as unfortunate, expensive, and annoying as the situation is, the customer service at both Radflo and DSM is great.
