This actually reminded me of a TW member who was fighting something similar to this for weeks and weeks until he finally found a clogged cat.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Change the PCV valve, as well, it's probably what started the whole mess.

Maybe a silly question but what is the difficulty of this?

Just pop the old one off and pop the new one in pretty much. Cheap too.

Could also be a bad injector. Check the resistance of each one.
Easy to do, but you need a multi-meter (to read resistance in ohms).

I was having issues with misfires as well, I did a few things before I changed the MAF. Now shes running on all 6 again. Feels good and just in time for winter. There is a spray you can get to clean it instead of replace it but I was over the headache so I splurged the 90 bucks to have it delivered to my door.

    subbed for outcome

im having a little hesitation as of recently. The idle went from smooth to slightly rough about 4 months ago. 2 weeks ago while sitting at a light, the idle went down like it was gonna die out. The next incident was 2 days ago, i let it idle for 10 minutes, hopped back in the truck, reversed fine, then when I hit the gas pedal to drive forward it gave a quick hesitation, like 2 or 3 skips then drove like normal. I changed from single electrode plugs to double electrodes about a week ago. The last incident so far was yesterday, felt some slight hesitaion on the way home, felt it on 3 different occasions. The only difference this time was I felt the hesitation while driving around 40-50 mph.

Is this similar to what your feeling?

I have been getting the P0420 code on my Ultra Guage. twice in the last month or so.

maybe its time I bite the bullet and get new O2 sensors along with 2 new cats.
