Looking to buy my better half a head unit for Christmas. I was getting ready to buy a Pioneer Double DIN from Crutchfield and all of the sudden it said that it would not fit. I looked two weeks ago and there was several to choose from...I'm not sure what happened.

Anyway, I need something in the $200-350 range. Must have Bluetooth, iPhone controls at the very least. Also has to be Pioneer. Can you guys help?

I've seen several I wanted to purchase but I'm worried they won't fit now. It's going in a 2009 Tacoma, standard Cab. I thought anything from 2005-2011 would fit? I've seen the head units cheaper, but I'd have to buy the harness and the dash kit as well....looking to have the total no more than $350 for everything if I have to buy it all separately.

    Any suggestions please ?

That is the head unit I bought and installed in my 2009 Access Cab from Amazon. If she has an IPhone 5 you will spend more than your budget if you want the video and everything to work on the unit. I spent about $450 with all of the extra suggested cords and equipment. Here is the list of what I bought:
    1. Pioneer AVH-X2500BT head unit.
    2. Metra Electronics Dash Kit because I have a black dash.
    3. Parking Brake override.
    4. Metra radio harness.
    5. Pioneer CDIV202AV AppRadio Bode VGA Interface Cable Kit for IPhone 5.
    6. OEM MD818ZM/A Apple Lightning to USB Cable for IPhone 5.
    7. Apple Lightning to VGA adapter.
    8. Video cable for backup camera connection.

App radio 3? I dont know why crutchfield says the pioneer radios dont fit our trucks. Maybe because of the JBL stuff some of them have, but you can get around that with the TYTO adapter.
