2020 Kawasaki Vulcan S ABS

I got this bar used and it seems to be a little long. The gutterless mount brackets are 46" and the light bar mounting tabs are at 49 inches. I know I need to cut 3 inches off but it seem like I would need a little less so I can red till and mount the tabs in the end. Any help? I don't want to cut it to short. If anybody can tell me how long there bar was if they mounted it to a first gen that would help!
