Hey new to the forms and have searched and couldn't find anything on this. Alright so I found a good little mud hole today went threw it maybe 5 times and after the idle went up just above 1k. Also the battery light came on. Checked the battery and was good and sat right. It did have mud and dirt all over the engine bay so I went home washed everything then took it to octopus for a wash. On my way over the battery light was on and still had the odd high idle. Go the extreme wash and everything them driving home the engine light came on with the battery??? Any help? Scrub the battery terminals? I am giving the air filter a clean tomorrow. Thanks guys

Might be the alternator not charging the battery. When the battery light is on it's usually that. All that water might have killed it
