I did the yellow wire mod on my truck, SR5. The correct wire was cut, and my 4LO blinks. I had a issue on sunday where i couldn't get thru some deep ruts (up to the frame). I know when you are using the yellow wire mod and you start to get hung up, you need to give the truck some gas for the TRAC system to work unlike A-TRAC.

So basically i got hung up in the ruts, gave the truck some gas in 4LO and sat there spinning with my pride going out the window. I did start to feel the brake system start to work and spin the opposite wheel, but only for a second. Do I need to rev the heck out of the truck?? Which is what i try not to do in this situation. When i start to spin i always stop, reverse, and pick a different line, works fine. I decided to test out the yellow wire mod this time.

I did conquer this section of the trail by backing up and choosing a different line.

interesting, i was gassing it pretty good. i guess the system needs more gas to work. just feels unnatural, i don't want the tires to grab and pop a 4x4 component.
