Ok, I installed a kdc-bt952hd HU the other day along with a amp, well I wired up my two subs and everything works perfect in the hd radio. but when I go into Bluetooth mode to play music from my phone. the subs don't work can anyone share some insight on what this might be.

Yes, you need something mor specific... Ask a Mod to change it or for some other suggestion.... In terms of your problem though, have you looked at what the sound settings (EQ's) are at during Bluetooth connect?

Does this head unit have switchable pre-amp outputs for the rear channels? In other words, have you tried listening to the subs to see if maybe it's just sending the wrong signals for some reason and instead of bass notes it's send miss an highs. The effect would be that the subs would seem to not work when they're still not the problem and it's just another setting in the head unit...

I know how frustrating this can be, I've had to troubleshoot my own stereos as well as friends tons of times but what I've usually found that if you either A. check your wiring and know that's not the case (which here we know it's not sense it works on other audio modes), then B. it's typically either a setting that's wrong for whatever reason which means reading really thoroughly over the manual and checking all the pertinent settings or C. you've got a faulty head unit.. Hopefully it's not C just cuz that's always the most frustrating but it's still worth checking through the rest before you rip the thing back out for replacement.

Had this same problem go to the mode or options button in the Bluetooth and select the other option than front, it's stupid simple but took me a while to figure out

Oh ya, it's probably sending the same signal to all speakers for whatever dumb reason... I hate when they don't think of the little things like that at the factory.. Why would I (or at least the mass consumer market) ever want my sub channels tuned to put out mods and highs???
