Hey everyone. I recently upgraded from stock wheels and tires to Duratracs in 265/75/16 and MB vortex wheels in matte black from Discount Tire. I couldn't find any pictures of these wheels mounted on a taco prior to purchasing them so I thought I'd post pictures for anyone looking in the future.

They look like an off road version of 4runner wheels.

    I approve.

Duncan - Do you know the offset or the backspace on the MBs? I'm looking at the exact same wheel...

    Jhunter,

I couldn't find anything definitive from MB wheels when I was looking. I pieced it all together from different websites and came up with 4.5 inch backspace and 0 offset at least for the 16x8 version. They do clear the calipers just fine. I had the front mud flaps off for a few weeks and there was no rubbing with 265/75/16 tires. I put them back on cause my truck was getting dirty as heck and there is a little rubbing on the very inside of the mudflap on full turn but that's it. I also bought the gorilla black extended lug nuts. I don't know if the regular gorilla lug nuts work or not but I know the stock lug nuts don't. Hope this helps!

I got the same ones on my truck, with Cooper 265/75/R16s. Mine are a black/chrome set. That all black looks sweet!

Which Coopers did you get? I was down to the duratracs and the at/3. Ended up with the duratracs since they had so many reviews.

I got the Discoverer A/T3's. I like them so far, they have only been on for about 1500 miles

They've worked out pretty well. The only issue I have is sometimes after a rotation discount tire will put the weights where they rub on the caliper. I have to pay attention right afterwards and go back to move them where they don't rub. Of course that isn't an issue with the tires so overall I'd recommend them.
