    Here's a tip for anyone going to or coming from Vegas. Last weekend we made a boys only trip to Vegas, went to see the UFC fight GSP Vs. Hendricks. It was an epic weekend capped off by a ride down Powerline rd. We got off the 15 at Whiskey Petes went to the back parking lot and through the open gate for an awesome ride home .It was 45 miles to the 127 which will take you to Baker and another 47 or so to Barstow. The road was 80 percent wide open sand and dirt got up to speeds of 70 MPH, some hills with some pretty deep ruts and a few washouts but nothing too serious, just a lot of fun, and great views of Death Valley.you might even run in to a burro or two. I highly recommend it !

    Engage Offroad long travel front and rear with some fat tires.
    It's a fun route...

    That section has been a fun part of the bi-annual Mojave run for years...

    My fave part is that hill climb that overlooks the lake bed/military air field with the camouflaged control tower...
