Hey guys, I picked up two packages of Alpena 77543 Drive LEDs on clearance at work. No I am not putting them on the front of the truck!

They are little 6 inch LED tub bars with mounting holes and I planned to mount them on the underside of the cargo bars in the bed.

    here are the lights

I figured I would just attach them to the underside of the rail and wire them in so I can light up the bed when necessary.

My question is what would you wire them into? Run it to the front and just do it off a switch? Or just tap it into something else in the back like the tail lights/towing harness and just put a switch in line?

    Any recommendations are welcome

Front dome light added, light reminder added, door chime mod, added 2nd gen 4runner headrests, grey wire mod, 2lo mod, more later.
I would tap into tailights for power source that way your lights couldn't be left on by mistake and discharge your battery, just a thought.

I was thinking something along the same lines as well as having an in line switch, so it is only on when needed and not while driving
