yea thats the color mangenment. I use the same monitor and just switching back and forth you notice a pretty big loss with windows.

Mac tho is also much better and disturbing its resources. So really, they are more powerful. they know how to mange they selves much better then windows does and its much less susceptible to bugs and crashes.

Thats why windows and PCs haven't really been part of the pro world too much.

But yes due to costs, PCs are making it big in the kind of..semi pro? for lack of a better term..world.

Hey Bob, how close are your tires to the spindle gussets with the 4.5" backspace?
I have the allpro gussets but assume they are super similar. MY 285's cleared the gussets by a small amount, hoping the 315's will so I don't have to punch them out on spacers.

Right on, good lookin out. Appreciate all the pictures. Looks like the TC's offer more clearance than the Allpros. I doubt mine are going to clear, I'll just take a set of spidertrax to the tire shop in the morning to be safe.

note the TC w/ sway bar are like the AP gussets

TC design (w/o swaybar) is nice as you can shave off a bit for clearancing and not weaken the gusset that much...

jace (lotsoftoys) did that with his gussets for more room with his...took the grinder and half mooned a small section

Ya I may do that, notch where I need to and back it up/rebuild farther back. I just don't want the call from the tire shop saying "sorry, no workie"
I prefer not to run spacers if I don't have to but they will get it back to shop if needed.

yup...better have it and not need it then the other way...

i had a set of 1/4" spacers ready to go but never needed them when i installed the 305s...now they just collect dust until i throw on 315s then they'll come back out as a "just in case"

eh..... I have been using nothing but high-end PCs for all of my graphics work for 20+ years now. No Mac can do the 3D stuff I need to do. :) But I still edit photos in Lightroom and Photoshop exclusively on my PC. HP Dreamcolor displays help a bit. ;)

yeah notching the gusset slightly, 1/2 inch with a half moon shape doesn't hurt the gusset at all, a sharp cut would probly sacrifice some integrity I'd think....
