How do y'all mount yours? Mine is the 60" which may limit some ideas. It is very secure with two bolts, locking washers and wing nuts. Thoughts on locking it to the vehicle? I tried a master lock combination but it got so dirty it would barely open after 2 muddy trips. Any comments appreciated.

i have mine mounted the same way as urs, but flat against the rail. I had to take off the base to make it fit.

Yeah I have the base in one if the bed cargo bins with my receiver ball. Do you lock it down somehow our just assume no one will have the balls to take it?

I dont have mine locked up. I also have a tonneu cover so no one knows its there. If i had to though, just need a bolt with a hole drilled in it and lock it up that way. Could also lock it up with a bike lock and the d-ring in the corner.

I just dont think anyone will want to carry something that heavy around. Plus with mine its not an easy on off like some out there.

Ill try to get pics up for yeah.

Hate to jinks myself, but mines not locked either. Have it kind of covered up with some 1 1/4" by 1" wall armor flex, it sort of hides in there. 'Course the tool boxes hide a lot also.

I know old thread...I like the pipe insulation you put over the handle to make it more stealth. I'm gonna have to try that.:D
