GPS mounted @ Garage dr hlder

    Not enough
    Anyone try to permeatly mount a GPS unit in the Over head Garage door holder?

    I was thinking about getting a thin GPS and mounting it to the door...When you need it you just open the door, flips down and off you go...Would keep someone from seeing it on the window and or having to remove it ever time you don't want your glass broken.......

    There may not be enough built in GPS ant signal in this location....
    Also the angle up there may be a problem...

    Thoughts????

    Interesting...



    You'd probably have to test a lot of different sizes.


    Good idea though.

    Maybe a plug-in patch antenna could make it work OK. Might be hard to read from that angle, though.

    i know mine will just sit up in there but it wont close
