I have a 1996 ext. cab 4x4 with a 2.7. Pretty much all stock with the exception of 16" newer Tacoma rims with new 32" tires and a newer factory style header that replaced the troublesome cracked manifold.

My rear leafs have no arch left in them so now is the time to upgrade. After about three days of searching this site on this topic and learning a lot I thought I would get your thoughts on what I have in my cart from Toy Tech from you guys that have done this before just to make sure I'm not over looking something.

I do want to lift the truck during this upgrade and don't really want to spend more than a grand. So here is what I have.

For the shocks I plan on using my current coil springs for these.

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com...ont-shocks-and-matching-rear-shocks_p_94.html

I also have the bushing kit in my cart as well.

    For the leafs:

I also have the 7.5" U-bolts and the exhaust bracket in my cart as well.

If this all looks good do I need to replace the rear brake line for a longer one, and I have the "Load Control Valve" on my brake system in the rear will this lift effect the function of that valve?

Also, the rear shocks in that package are they suitable for the lift. Its not to clear if they are the extended 5125 ( I think that's the part number on them).

All input, opinions and suggestions are welcome. I just want to make sure before I purchase.
    Thanks.

fronts are good but the rear it stats 3-3.25 lift with that leaf pack, the shocks for the rear are for 1-2 1/2 lift. I would suggest calling them to verified to make sure the rear shocks are long enough for the leafs. for that lift in the rear I would upgrade to longer brake lines.

Never mind I see what they do now. Will that kit work for my set up? Anyone?

you can't do a U bolt flip without welding on new shock mounts to the axle as the lower shock mounts are on the stock axle plate that the stock ubolts clamp on.

So i fyou do u bolt flip, you should jsut relocate the shocks all together with a custom upper crossmember.

I didn't realize all that was involved. I think I will pass on the u-bolt flip.
