Hey, I was wondering if there were any quick fixes to my aux port. I have a 2009 and with the aux cable in, it frequently goes from "aux" to "cd." Seems to have a bad connection. I usually fix it by plugging it in n out until it works again. I've also tried using a new aux cord n have the same problem. Anybody run into this same problem?

If you have an extended warranty it is covered. My '09 started failing in 2012 and Toyota replaced it. The contacts seem to stretch and not see the connection after awhile.

I had to replace the one on my wife's 07 civic too. If it's made anything like the Honda their is a tiny sensor built into the plug that goes bad. Not sure on the Toyota,Mine didn't come with one.
