Hello To everyone. Happy new Tacoma owner in Ottawa, Canada. This week traded in a 2007 FJ Cruiser for a 2013 LTD 5A ECT-i 4L V6 4X4 DCLB. Loved the FJ because it had firm suspension and awesome acceleration, but repairs were costing too much. Before deciding on the 2013 Limited, test drove a 2014 TRD, but it didn't compare to the FJ acceleration and truck-feel (which I really like). The Limited is closer to the FJ on both points - I'm still trying to understand why the acceleration is so different. Other than wanting to have a Tacoma because the wife can handle a mid-size truck, got a really great deal on the trade-in (better price than 2014 TRD). The Limited has more frills than I need, but the wife loves these things - like the heated seats for the long Canadian winter. First investment was to put Blizzak DM-V1 on it ($1500 with 16" steel rims and installation). I need it to serve more than as a sparkly city truck so will be making more investments into it during the coming year. There's lots for me to learn for my Tacoma so thank goodness for all the helpful information from members in Tacoma World.
