do white LED dome lights still "slow dim" when you shut the door?

    • i work in the LED industry and i know not all LEDs are dimmable. well, not all LED dimming systems are dimmable, but that's another story.
    • i want to get them new-fangled white LEDs for the interior, where do i get a set?
    • i have a 2010 TRD Sport, if the interiors and overhead console are different.
    • this may have been posted before but new stuff is always coming out.

PM a guy on here named "CSJumper". He has the ones I believe that work with the autodimmers.

You can get a set from Chris (csjumper2003) and they are somewhat dimmable, when you close the door and hit the lock button on the fob it's like there are layers to them dimming and not a steady dim but more of a not so subtle dim.

Kinda, it seems like there is like 4 stages of brightness, it isn't a fluid change, but it still gets dimmer and dimmer.

I have CS's, and when they turn on they dim up normally, but when they turn off them dim down in stages.

^^ what they said. I have jumpers interior set as well and the dome light is nice and bright to start, then dims in stages. Looks kind of like a little flicker as it dims.

The 4-stage dimming is actually pretty cool!

    I’ll p/m Chris
