How to clean 3.4L ps reservoir screen

    After searching through 10 or so posts, I couldn't find the answer the this question so I figured that I'd contribute to the knowledge base.

    It seems as though most people are having a hell of a time getting the crud off of the the screen inside the power steering reservoir on a 3.4L tacoma. It's no surprise, considering that it's fully sealed in there. In fact, it seems as though it's a commonly overlooked place to clean when flushing the system, causing hundreds to be spent on parts that aren't broken.

    Well...here's the big secret I discovered just now:
    The detail cleaning accessories of a ShopVac fit right through the filling hole in the top. Look right down the barrel of a small flashlight to see inside. 90% perfect in 5 minutes; no mess.
