How difficult and long of a job is it to remove the rear bed to get to the rear frame for someone with moderate mechanical skills?

Want to do some rust prevention on the frame in the spring.

Never done mine but it shouldn't be hard to do, although an extra set of hands will help with the lifting. From what I can tell by looking at mine would involve removing the bed bolts, fuel filler hose, and unclipping the taillight wiring. Drop tailgate then lift.

The rear bed is easier to remove than the front bed! :D:D:D:D

I do believe they are not TOO difficult to remove. I know the 1st gens are easy.

Would remove the rear bumper as well. And take off the tail gate, it's less weight to pick up

I already did the front bed last summer hence limiting my inquiry to the rear one. Lol::D:p
