Optima batteries are not as good as they use to be. My yellow top shit the bed last year when the pos terminal started coming loose and almost pulled right out. Ive heard that they arent lasting as long as they should be.

There are much better batteries available like Diehard and Oddessy

 

I have considered those when I go to a dual battery setup. The odyssy's are even more expensive that the YT.

also..i took a nap and that i had just slept for 12 hours..haha when i looked at the time though it said 5am..was so bummed..but now i realize its 6pm. Thank goodness..haha

So Mark... You know how I said Fuck you earlier?... I take it back. We got lots of snow I came home to a couple inches and I had been home for about 3 hours and I went back out to go pick something up and there were 2 new inches on my Tacoma!! I was in the dollar store for about 5-10 minutes, came back out and had a good half an inch on my windowshield It is coming down pretty hard, but it is really light and fluffy so that's why it builds up so high so fast, if it were wetter it would probably only be half it's height. Slick as shit on the roads. I was doing 10 mph in our parking lot and stomped on my brakes with the ABS off and seriously slid forever and it was such a smooth transition (even though I literally went from the throttle to just mashing the brake) that my wife didn't even realize I had hit the brakes... haha

 

makes sense, usually the storm come at an angle from the north and down, and hit mccall good, skirt by boise as they start to hit you, but this one looks like it came straight across the state, so it hit me first then got to you.

it stopped around 1 id say. got sunny, but also got colder. so the 3ish" we got is all now going to freeze! yippee!

bogus opens tomorrow! stoked. but i work till 1:30, so im just going to go up in the hills and play around at a little spot where people usually set up jibs and features. The 6+ inches we got at the hill were much needed to cover the frozen ground from all the cold temps

what surprises me is that according to the brundage cams, they didnt get shit from this storm

 

I guess it started snowing like right after I left this morning. It is still just a going to town out there though.

 

I would vote to have a mandatory siesta. Could it work in our culture?
